Paying with Monero

Paying for hosting with Monero is straightforward, and it requires no account with us. Here is how it works.

Getting XMR

If you don’t have Monero yet, you can obtain some:

• on an exchange that lists XMR;
• through an instant-swap service (often no sign-up for small amounts);
• peer-to-peer.

Keep your XMR in a wallet you control (the official app, Feather, Cake Wallet…).

Placing an order

Pick your plan, select Monero as the payment method, confirm. You land on your private tracking page. No email address is required — but save the link carefully, it is your only access to the order.

Sending the payment

The page shows:

• a Monero address;
• the amount in XMR, calculated at the current rate.

Copy the address into your wallet and send the exact amount shown. The rate is locked for a short window; pay while it is still valid.

Confirmation times

Monero confirms transactions in blocks, roughly every two minutes. In practice:

• provisioning happens after one or two confirmations (a few minutes);
• the payment is considered final at ten confirmations.

For a VPS, provisioning is therefore quick. At this stage, Monero payment confirmation is handled manually on our side: expect a few hours during the day while we validate it.

Privacy

Monero hides the amount, sender and recipient on its blockchain, and we insert no payment intermediary. Combined with our account-free, Tor-friendly ordering, it is the most discreet route. To learn more, see anonymous hosting.
